My name is Katie, and I delight in your wildness, your soft animal, your humanness. I believe in the deep intelligence of your body, and consider your nervous system a brilliant roadmap.

Having done birth work for over 10 years before beginning a massage practice, I have come to know - intimately and viscerally - that the sacred and the mundane are one and the same. We are infinitely dynamic and multifaceted creatures, and compassionately embracing the paradox of being human is a pathway to liberation.

It is in this spirit that I come to bodywork, to birth work, to coaching, and to everything I do.

  • • Offering in-person services in San Diego, CA, periodically in Asheville, NC, and coaching wherever you can reach me via internet. I love traveling too ;)

    • Neurodivergent/neurospicy and love it about myself.

    • Began practicing massage therapy and bodywork in 2020.

    • Began practicing birth work in 2010. Worked as a birth doula, postpartum doula, and as a midwife’s assistant.

    • Currently not taking “on call” birth clients, but am available to be a part of birth and postpartum teams, or for consultations pre-birth.

    • Long-time student of Chinese medicine, and love integrating these ancient frameworks into bodywork and postpartum care.

    • Backyard herbalist, trained in energetic herbalism.

    • Received training in ParaYoga, reiki, and energy healing, in what feels like a lifetime ago.

  • Being in and around water as much as possible. Making distinctions between this and that. Expanding emotional capacity. Yummy beverages. Internal decolonization practices. Astrology, human design, and I finally get why people are into so enneagram (and I’m a little obsessed now) - and I’m a 4 in case you were curious.
